Words from a 3 year old.
Brayden is always excited, when I drop Kaelan at preschool, as there is always lots to do. He always races in and finds the play dough first, then explores around to see what he can find next. Today he toasted marshmallows (cottonwool balls) on sticks in front of the fire ( made up of red & orange cellophane and twigs) in the multicultural corner, then he is off into the kitchen for some cooking.
I call Brayden, after saying goodbye to Kaelan, as it is time to leave. As we are walking out, Brayden grabs a small piece of play dough to take home. He stops all of a sudden and says
“Wait! I forgot something…..”
He then runs over to the art and craft table, where they are drawing and decorating emus. Brayden grabs a texta, draws his emu and then starts glueing and sticking on the eyes and feathers.
We cannot leave preschool without a piece of art.
Below is his emu.
Here is his artwork from yesterday.
