Today we drove to Newcastle to visit Grandma in John Hunter Hospital, as she is recovering from a major operation she had last Wednesday, to remove a huge cyst growing in her stomach. She is doing remarkably well, considering she had 4 operations in one.

While Grandma was sitting up in the day chair, the children decided to take over the bed and the TV.

While at the hospital, we saw Aunty Jenny, Uncle Rodney and Aunty Tania, who also came to visit Grandma/mum.

While in Newcastle we thought we would also call in and see Aunty Angela and Uncle Ian, who we haven’t seen for a while.

And throwing us all out today, was turning the clocks back for the end of day light savings, so instead of being a quarter to midnight it is only 10.45pm. Time for bed. Goodnight.
