Today all Kaelans wishes came true. He got to catch the bus.
All Kaelan has wanted to do since he started school, is to catch the bus to school and home. I kept putting it off, (as he was only in Kindy) and telling him not until he got his bus pass. So everyday he would ask if his bus pass had arrived and the answer was always no. However his sisters pass had arrived and I also had to notify the school, of Kaelans going home routine, which was to start as of today. And Mondays are a catch the bus home day.
So today I let him do just that, catch the bus to and from school with his sister. He was so excited to be catching the bus. (We are still waiting for the bus pass to arrive).
He arrived to school safely, however the trip home was a little different. I was waiting out the front for the bus to arrive, I see it coming and I can see them on the bus, but the bus doesn’t stop it keeps going. So I run after the bus hoping that it would stop at the next stop and they would get off. Nope their not there, so I start walking back, in the hope that the driver realises, turns around and brings them back. While I was walking back, I look back and the bus is turning out of the last drop off street and bringing back. Apparently there was a little confusion, as the bus driver ask if anyone was to get off at out stop and as there were a few kids on the bus, they said yes and the others said no and the bus driver only heard no and kept going. Anyway they arrived home safely and the driver apologised. Next time I’ll need to stand on the road to make sure the bus stops.
Day 7: Super green smoothie.
Yeah! I have gone a whole week with having a green smoothie for breakfast or lunch everyday. I have noticed the difference with what I have been eating and not snacking throughout the day. I even had someone comment over the weekend on how I was looking.
So todays smoothie was “The Green Room” which is good for detoxifying, good for the hair, skin and nails and an energy booster.
