Yesterday Master K had his Best Start interview, in readiness for starting kindergarten on Thursday.

He attended a half hour session, where the teacher reads a book, looks at some pictures, and talks to them about letters and words and then they are able to show the teacher how they can count, read numbers and write their name. When they are finished they receive a sticker from the teacher.

It is a way for the teacher to see where the child is at and what they are capable of doing.

Master K was very excited and is so ready for school.
